GM (General Motors) will put an additional 700 people to work at an assembly plant in Oshawa to build the new Camaro Convertible and Buick Regal, the automaker said Monday November 29th.
The employees will staff a second shift on the plant's flexible manufacturing line, where the Chevrolet Camaro Coupe is already being built.

GM has called back all of its Oshawa production workers and hired 300 new employees, securing a total of 1,300 jobs for production of the Camaro, Regal and Chevrolet Equinox.

"With three new vehicle launches underway and the addition of two new shifts, the Oshawa assembly plant has become a model for flexibility," said Kevin Williams, GM of Canada's president and managing director.
Production of the Camaro Convertible will start in January and Regal production is scheduled to begin in early spring.

  1. Andrew, I wanted you to write your own News Report, not cut and paste one from the internet...

Also, the commercials on your blog are pretty annoying...
